Jade Abbott

Jade is an ACA (Australian Counselling Association) registered counsellor, a Yoga Alliance accredited E-RYT500 senior yoga teacher and a musician.

Jade holds a Bachelor of Business (Music Industry), a Diploma of Counselling, a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment and a Certificate IV in Yoga Teaching with 1000+ hours training in specialist yoga modalities.

As a counsellor, Jade draws from her yoga and music experience, Jade often employs somatic and expressive approaches in counselling, such as stretching, breath work, yoga, music + sound and body awareness exercises.

Jade’s yoga classes draw on her Vinyasa, Hatha and Purna training, focusing on safe and comfortable alignment, breath connection and strength building whilst offering students the opportunity to focus inward with her empowering approach. Jade has trained in the specialised areas of restorative yoga, yin yoga, pre and post natal yoga, yoga for seniors as well as remedial yoga. Jade is experienced in facilitating studio classes, private sessions, teacher trainings, workshops and retreats.

Jade’s personal yoga practice began in 2007 whilst studying Business at university. She has been teaching professionally since 2015. Over the years Jade has completed trainings, immersions and workshops in Europe, Indonesia, India and Australia, gaining insight from practicing with many renowned teachers.

Learning and growing alongside her two spirited daughters and life partner, Jade is passionate about working alongside individuals as they gain a greater understanding of themselves, their experiences and their unique strengths.

With a belief that mind and body practices should be adapted for the individual, not the individual adapted to the practices; Jade’s warm and passionate nature shine through in her work.

When she isn’t working with clients, you will find Jade having a good stretch, swimming in the ocean or playing her guitar.

Rory Walton

Master of Nutrition & Dietetics, Fire fighter, Personal Trainer & Yoga Instructor, Rory offers a holistic approach to healthy eating and lifestyle.

Rory’s interest in health and fitness started with his involvement in AFL, playing semi professionally until his 20s. Gaining qualification as a personal trainer and working at the Australian Institute of Fitness saw his passion develop, eventually taking him to University to study a Masters in Dietetics. Rory has travelled to Bangladesh to study nutrition in developing countries and spent 6 months in India where he trained as a yoga teacher in Rishikesh.

Rory offers nutrition consults, PT sessions for individuals and small groups as well as teaching the odd yoga class. A busy father of two daughters and partner to Jade, Rory understands that each client is individual and requires a unique approach to best suit their goals and life.

Rory believes that true health is not only about looking at what we put into our bodies, but about our entire lifestyle. Our mindset, our movement and our nutrition are all important parts of the whole. By taking this approach, Rory walks beside clients as they shape their own wellness, becoming positive and productive individuals.
